Weapon Group: Axes
Pictured here: 1) knuckle axe, 2) kumade, 3) light pick, 4) throwing axe, 5) handaxe, 6) battleaxe or fŭ, 7) heavy pick, 8) gandasa, 9) greataxe or yuè, 10) dwarven waraxe, 11) pickaxe, 12) hooked axe, 13) tongi, 14) dwarven longaxe or mountain-splitting fŭ, and 15) bardiche or cerulean dragon jĭ.
Weapons from the axe group tend to be heavy for their size, featuring weighted slashing or piercing metal heads atop relatively long wooden shafts. Due to the sheer weight behind their blows, attacks using axes or picks are typified by low threat ranges but high critical multipliers, making the rare critical hit capable of delivering truly staggering amounts of damage.
